Win a Free Pair of Chakra Earrings!

Dear Customers,

I need your help. I'd like your thoughts on a new line of jewelry I am creating...The Chakra Collection. I've been thinking about this concept for a few years now. I am in the process of designing pieces that will help in the healing and balancing of the 7 major energy centers of the body.

For those of you not familiar with the chakra system, here are the names of the 7 major chakras:

Chakra 1: Base Chakra - located a the bottom of the spine (butt bone area)
Chakra 2: Sacral Chakra - located between the belly button and pubic bone
Chakra 3: Solar Plexus - located above the belly button and below the sternum
Chakra 4: Heart Chakra - located in the center of the chest
Chakra 5: Throat Chakra - located in the throat area
Chakra 6: Third Eye Chakra - located between the brows on the forehead
Chakra 7: Crown Chakra - located at the top of the head near the center

Each of these energy centers has an effect on the 5 layers of the body...including the physical and emotional bodies. When these centers are blocked, constricted, flowing the wrong way, too open...you may experience physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances in your life.

Through different energetic healing modalities, including the use of natural stones and crystals, you can bring these energy centers back in balance.

Given that the intention of my jewelry is for healing purposes and that I already use the energies of the stones in my designs, I want to know what my customers are wanting such as simple every day wear designs or more elaborate and bold designs in this line? Are you wanting a combination of stones to balance all the chakras? Are you interested in having your own custom chakra piece designed to meet your specific needs? Your feedback and thoughts are greatly appreciated. I want to give my customers what they will love to wear.

I will read all comments this week and put all those who comment into a drawing to win a FREE pair of earrings from the Chakra Collection on Friday, March 4th. If you win, your name will be posted at the bottom of this post. Please leave your phone number or email in the comments sections so that I can contact you if you win!

Good luck and send me your thoughts!!!

Healing Blessings!
Linda

  1. Hi Linda! I personally prefer bold designs with one strong crystal piece as the focal point on a strong chain or rigid necklace.

My all time favorite piece of jewelry was a single stone (actually resin) pendant - a large chunk of faceted green amber, mounted in a sterling silver border that I wore on a rigid silver necklace/choker(I think you'd seen me wearing it a number of times). Unfortunately, I lost that pendant a few weeks ago after wearing it almost every day for over 6 years
    :-((( (major boo hoo!)

Since there are very few crystals I can wear for extended periods of time, although I love the look of many crystals as necklaces (and I almost never wear bracelets or earrings), there are only a few that I can actually wear for more than a couple of hours (for example, I have two chokers with a medium sized piece of labradorite as the focal point and after two hours they start to hurt my neck (too much energy from the labradorite)).

Clear quartz I can usually handle for longer periods and of course amber which I never get tired of. Other than that, I'm not sure which stones would work well for me. I know that I tend to be drawn to red and first chakra related things, but I don't think I've ever tried wearing a red or black stone for an extended period of time, although I think it might work for me?

Do you think you'll ever work with amber? I've been shopping ebay for a replacement piece for my green baltic amber pendant, and have seen some very nice pieces of unmounted, faceted green amber (most of the amber out there is not faceted), but I can't do the silver work to mount the stone (do you know how to do this?)

Well, there's my two cents! In general, I tend to prefer chunkier, more masculine jewelry... so please do more of that (like that one piece on your Circle of Stones page that you're calling a men's bracelet) for those of us who are not quite as dainty as the average gal! ;-)
